Shop all pieces

one piece at a time

Every piece here begins with a question: what will it hold, and how should that feel?

I throw, trim and fire in small batches, so each cup, bottle and vase leaves the studio with a clear purpose and a long life ahead. Simple until you pick it up — and notice why it was shaped that way.

NEXT FIRING — OCTOBER

Ash & Ember

Twelve pieces out of a wood-fired kiln this autumn — ash-glazed cups and two tall bottles, each marked by where the flame happened to pass. The list sees them before the shop does.

THE STUDIO

Why slow?

A wheel can't be rushed. Clay remembers every impatient movement, and honest pottery only comes from time — time to wedge, to throw, to dry, to fire twice. I make a dozen pieces a month, not thousands.

That pace is a promise: the cup you drink from tomorrow morning was shaped for exactly that moment.
